Sunday Worship Services
Our Sunday Worship Services take place on Sunday mornings at 8:30 am and 10:30 am. The 8:30 am service is a quieter service, while the 10:30 am service features a choir and church school for children aged 3 to 12.
Mid-Week Worship Services
Our Mid-Week Worship Services take place on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. This quiet service of Holy Eucharist is perfect to stop in at on your way home from a stressful day at work or early enough to go to before your evening plans. The service is only 30 minutes. Through Lent, we will be looking at the Passion of Christ according to John's Gospel. This is the reading traditionally used on Good Friday. This study will give us the chance to journey to the Cross and the Resurrection along side Jesus and his friends. All are welcome. The Study follows the Wednesday night Eucharist, beginning approximately 7 pm and ending at 8 pm.
Family Service
On the 3rd Sunday of each month, we will host a Family Service at the 10:30 am regular worship service. The children will remain in the Church, with their parents and there will be "kid-friendly" music, sermon, etc. On some occassions, the "Muppetans" the St. Stephen's Memorial puppets will provide entertainment during the service. This service is generally kept to one hour in length.
Service of Holy Baptism
Services of Holy Baptism are scheduled throughout the year. Please contact The Rev. Keith Nethery through the church office (519) 681-5153 or e-mail therev@ststephenslondon.com to talk about baptismal preparation and dates.
*We Will Remember Them*
The Memorial in St. Stephen's Memorial Anglican Church recognizes that this worship community was begun by returning Veterans of the Second World War and their families. We are proud of this heritage. Each November, on the Sunday before Remembrance Day, we will mark the sacrifice made by so many that we might be free. At both the 8:30 and 10:30 am services that day, there will be a time of Remembrance. At the 10:30 service, this time will include several of our veterans carrying flags and participating in the service as well as a stirring tribute to those who have gone before from the members of our
