Welcome to the website of St. Stephen’s Memorial Anglican Church in London.
In Anglican terms, we are a young church, founded less than 60 years ago, but already considerable history has accumulated. We have been blessed to have 3 members of St. Stephen’s move to ordination and all three are currently Rector’s of Anglican Churches in the Diocese of Huron (one is even at a St. Stephen’s – this one in Stratford). This shows the tremendous dedication of the people of this congregation and the “family” feel that has been fostered.
For my part, I believe the job of a priest is to help people find what they believe. God’s creation is a wonderful, breathtaking, awe inspiring, sometimes scary thing, that is difficult to understand. It is my goal that we journey together, learning the Gospel message of love and forgiveness and helping people find where they are comfortable in understanding what this means to them.
St. Stephen’s is a welcoming place, with a diverse tradition and an exciting future. We’d love to have you join us. Please feel free to contact us for further information, or better still, come visit our family at any time – on Sunday morning or during office hours for an introduction.
