BECOMING A MAGNETIC CHURCH

     Our church has a positive attitude toward newcomers but we need some new initiatives to attract, invite, greet and retain them. We have a newly formed team of individuals who are open to the ideas we learned at the Magnetic Church Conference this past fall.

     Our priority for 2008 will be to expand our newcomer ministry into one which we have dubbed “Opening Doors” which will far exceed what most of us have traditionally regarded as newcomer ministry. It will involve a wide range of activities to support attracting, inviting, greeting, incorporating and retaining newcomers.
