Their love and compassion is so evident as they help the children and their families...who, for whatever reasons require assistance, love and guidance. May we ask Your forgiveness when we are quick to judge others. Please bring us to the living water, Jesus Christ, Your Son our Lord.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Holy Week - as we approach the Glory of Easter, we must first walk the Way of the Cross.  Starting with Passion Sunday, there will be a daily service through Holy Week, culminating in our Easter celebration.  Again this year, the Palm Liturgy will be held between services (10 am) on March 28th.  There will be a 6:30 pm Eucharist each night from Monday to Thursday.  The Good Friday liturgy is at 11.  This year we will join our Bishop and the Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, for the Saturday Vigil at St. Paul's Cathedral.  Easter Day services are at 7 am and 10:30 am, with Holy Baptism at 10:30.  More details in the days ahead.

Daily Bread Basket - This week’s item is instant potatoes.  Please stay tuned each week for different items.

JAM - JAM's upcoming functions include: a youth group social at Boler Mountain on Sunday March 7th AND.... on the weekend of April 9-10, St. Stephen’s teens will be participating in World Vision’s 30-hour famine. Watch for your opportunity to sponsor someone for this event.

Tupperware - Today, Courtnay Kingsbury (Pat and Shirley Patterson's granddaughter) will be doing a tupperware presentation and sale during coffee hour at the 10:30 am service.  A portion of the proceeds will come back to St. Stephen's.  Courtnay advises this is also a time you can bring in broken tupperware to have it replaced.  For a little preview, check out www.my.tupperware.ca/ckingsbury

Chocolate Covered Cream Easter Eggs  - Theology students at Huron College are selling homemade Easter Eggs as a fund raiser to help St. Philip's Training College in Tanzania, a seminary started by Huron alumni. The eggs are much like the cream eggs sold at Laura Secord’s and are only $4 a piece. If you are interested in ordering some, please see Anita, our Theology Student.

St. Stephen’s Spring Retreat - May 7th and 8th  Learn to cultivate personal prayer and quiet time. Facilitated by our Theology Student, Anita Evans. 7:00 pm Friday night to 4:00 pm Saturday. Medaille House in North London – situated on over 3 acres of land – with comfortable indoor facilities. Space is limited. Please signup in the narthex by Sunday April 11th. Cost will be $65 for overnight participants and $60 for those who choose to go home to sleep. Meals, snacks, linens, as well as materials for prayer and discussion are all included. Please feel free to talk to Anita if you have any questions.

“Shades of Harmony” in Concert - This barbershop group (which our own Gloria Young is a part of) are performing at St. Stephen’s Memorial on Saturday, March 27 at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.  To purchase tickets, please contact Gloria by phone at (519) 685-1269 or by email at gyoung0095@rogers.com .  A portion of the ticket sales goes to the church.
